- I am approaching 70. That is a shocker. In my mind, I am in my early fifties. As do many of my friends, I often wonder where the years went, but in my heart I know. They went, with joys and sorrows, wins and losses, fun and pain, sea and sky into the vault of memories. They went to universities and new apartments, to weddings and vacations and births and funerals. They went where all things go. No do overs, unfortunately. Only soldiering on, into the shorter realm with gust and love and enthusiasm and some of the best friends and family on the planet. Thank you Jesus for that. We will discuss a few blips when we meet.
